Half Café, Half Museum
A house first. A bakery since.
Before it was Nimmies, 171 Jalan Beringin was just a house in Taman Melodies — the kind with a front yard, a balcony, and more rooms than one family needed. We kept the bones: the terracotta brick stayed, the tile stayed, the mango tree out front stayed.
Inside, poured concrete meets vintage tile meets the odd art piece nobody remembers buying. Regulars call it "half museum." We don't correct them.
"We wanted a house you'd want to be invited back to — not a café built to look like one."
Behind the Pass
Gold medal, open flame.
Our Fish 'n Chips took Gold at the World Chef Championship in 2024. It still leaves the kitchen the same way it did before anyone noticed.
